Maximilian Klöckner joins the University of Cambridge as a Visiting Researcher

Maximilian is a PhD Candidate at the Chair of Logistics Management. He joined the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, in the beginning of February to work on a collaborative research project between the Institute for Manufacturing (University of Cambridge) and the Chair of Logistics Management (ETH Zurich).

The research project is associated with an empirical master’s thesis, examining the relationship between firms’ distributed research and development (R&D) activities and product recalls. The project approach relies on secondary data from databases for firm financials and from product recall databases.

In Cambridge, Maximilian joined the industrial resilience research group, headed by external pageDr. Mukesh Kumar. The research group is part of the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) at the Department of Engineering (University of Cambridge). Maximilian is collaborating with external pageRoman Schumacher, PhD Candidate at the Department of Engineering (University of Cambridge) and Luigi Job, master’s student at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (ETH Zurich).
