Maximilian Klöckner invited to speak at MAS+ Workshop about Blockchain

Maximilian, PhD student at the Chair of Logistics Management, has been invited to present the Chair’s research on blockchain for supply chain management at the MTEC MAS+ Workshop on distributed ledger technologies.

On May 18, Maximilian will hold a keynote speech during the first day of the MAS+ Workshop “Advances in Distributed Ledger: Technology, Cases and Code”. Maximilian will primarily talk about the Chair’s research on blockchain applications for 3D printing, the corresponding potentials, barriers, supply chain implications, and business model opportunities. He will also present a recently published study on the impact of blockchain initiatives on firms’ stock market performance.

Further invited speakers include Kris Pawluk (Head of Strategy and Operations, Google), Akaki Mamageishvili (Senior Researcher, Chair of Macroeconomics: Innovation and Policy, D-MTEC), Jens Jelitto (Researcher, Industry Platforms and Blockchain, IBM Zurich), Björn Tackmann (Director of Research, Dfinity), Phillip Dettwiler (Chief Operating Officer, Atomyze), and Silvan Andermatt (Head Markets, Atomyze).
