Short Bio
Victor Silveira-Camargos holds a degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) from the University of Mannheim, Germany, with majors in Operations Management, Finance, and Economics. In the course of his studies he gained first practical experiences working for Daimler, KPMG, Deutsche Bank, and Lazard. After graduation he worked for almost four years as a senior consultant for an international top-management consulting firm. His consulting projects were primarily in the automotive sector advising major OEMs and Tier-1/2 suppliers in Germany, the Netherlands, and China.
His research on just in sequence production systems in the automotive industry and risk management aspects of just in sequence has appeared in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Operations and Logistics and Logistik Management.
