Feng, Zijian (Lea)
Short Bio
Zijian (Lea) Feng is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Chair of Logistics Management. She holds a master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, USA (2016), focusing on operations and supply chain management. Prior to that, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), a member of the Sorbonne University Association, France (2012), followed by a dual master’s degree program from both UTC and Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, in mechanical engineering (2014).
During Lea’s studies at Stanford University in 2015, she interned at Pebble (acquired by Fitbit later), a smartwatch startup as a hardware program manager. Lea also participated in course projects in collaboration with industries of consumer electronics and data service on inventory optimization and logistics cost reduction.
After graduation from Stanford University, Lea joined a supply chain management rotation program at Maxim Integrated, a semiconductor company in the San Francisco bay area (2016). Later on she worked as a supply chain manager at an Internet of Things (IoT) startup, Samsara, in San Francisco, gaining experiences on end-to-end global supply chain management in a challenging hypergrowth environment (2018).
