Short Bio

Bublu Thakur-Weigold is Associate Director Programs of the HumOSCM Lab at ETH Zurich’s Chair of Logistics Management. She works with both commercial and humanitarian organizations to improve performance using scientific knowledge and research findings. She is also an expert on Global Value Chains and Development. Trained as an industrial engineer, she gathered over 20 years of supply chain experience in industry and consulting before joining the ETH as a researcher, lecturer, and program director.

Bublu holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in International Logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Doctorate from the University of Economics in Prague (VSE).

Her work has been published in Production Planning & Control, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Journal of International Business Policy, and magazines like ISE (Industrial Engineer), Logistics Innovation, or The Humanitarian Leader.
