The aim of the Elwood S. Buffa Doctoral Dissertation Competition is to identify and recognize outstanding doctoral research in the development of theory and/or applications of decision sciences and is co-sponsored by McGraw-Hill/Irwin and the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI). Dr. Christoph Bode was formally recognized on November 17, 2009 during the 2009 DSI Annual Meeting in New Orleans.
