In the 2015 Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Annual Meeting in Seattle, the paper “Responding to Suppliers Suffering Financial Distress” was acknowledged with the award for the Best Theory‐Driven Empirical Research Paper.
In this paper, the authors Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner, Prof. Dr. Christoph Bode and Prof. Dr. Moritz Peter conceptualize buying firms’ response options to financially distressed suppliers, investigate the influence of dependence on buying firm’s response, and the consequences of the buying firm’s response for the supplier’s financial recovery. Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner has received the prize during the President's and Award Gala.
