Dr. Christian Busse has successfully completed his Habilitation
The ETH rectorate has granted Dr. Christian Busse the Venia Legendi for the subject area Management, upon successful completion and positive evaluation of his Habilitation thesis Perspectives on the Management of Sustainability in Global Supply Chains.
In the German-speaking area, the Habilitation is the traditional path to a full professorship. As a post-doctoral qualification, it certifies a scholar’s ability to conduct meaningful research independently. It comprises the results of approximately six years of research after completion of the Ph.D.
The Venia Legendi is a university’s permission for lecturing in a subject area. It comes with the title of Privatdozent (literally: “private lecturer”, acronym: PD).
