Decision Sciences Best Paper Award Finalist

A recent paper published in the Decision Sciences Journal by Prof. Dr. Seongtae Kim and Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner was chosen as a runner up and finalist for the Decision Sciences Journal Best Paper Award 2022. The award was presented at the 2022 Decision Sciences Institute Annual Conference in Houston.

The finalist papers were presented in a special session at the 2022 Decision Sciences Institute Annual Conference in Houston, Texas. The study presented in this paper is an empirical investigation of why, how and how much corruption (kickbacks and bribery) damages shareholder value of firms in the supply chain.

Decision Sciences is a premier business research publication with international visibility and impact. Articles published in Decision Sciences address contemporary business problems primarily focused on operations, supply chain and information systems and simultaneously provide novel managerial and/or theoretical insights.

Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner is a Department Editor for Decision Sciences, member of the Decision Sciences Institute publication committee, and a frequent track chair at the Decision Sciences Institute Annual Conference. Up to now, he has published five articles in the Decision Sciences Journal.

This award is the third best paper award winning or finalist paper in the year 2021.
