Research stay of Kamil Mizgier at the University of California, Santa Barbara
Kamil Mizgier, Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at the Chair of Logistics Management, is currently completing his July–December 2010 research stay at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).
He took a graduate course in stochastic processes, the methodology he applies in supply chain and business risk modeling. As part of his dissertation he works on a project on “Losses from time structured supply chain disruptions.” At external page UCSB he is affiliated with the Center for Risk Studies and Safety under the direction of Prof. Theo Theofanous. Kamil Mizgier has also started to cooperate with Prof. Jean-Pierre Fouque and Dr. Tomoyki Ichiba from the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability at UCSB, where he presented his research work.
