Three papers from the Chair of Logistics Management selected as finalists for the Best Student Paper Award at AoM
We are delighted to announce that this year, three out of four papers which have been selected as finalists for the Best Student Paper Award at of the Academy of Management (AoM) Conference are developed by PhD students (as first authors) from the Chair of Logistics Management.

At each annual meeting of external page AoM, the Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) division provides a Best Student Paper Award. The finalists are selected from submitted papers whose primary author is a PhD student. For the year 2018, three of the four finalists for the Best Student Paper Award are papers whose primary authors are students from the Chair of Logistics Management:
- Ivana Mateska, with the paper entitled “More than reputation losses? Financial consequences from supply chain sustainability risks”, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Christian Busse from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Prof. Dr. Andrew P. Kach from Willamette University, and Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner from ETH Zurich.
- Dagmar Reinerth, with the paper entitled “Increasing Order Volume through Sustainable Reputation: A Study on Buyer-Supplier Relationships”, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Christian Busse from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, and Prof. Dr. Stephan Wagner from ETH Zurich.
- Stefan Kurpjuweit, with the paper “Partnering with New Venture Suppliers: A Dynamic Capabilities Approach”.
